Feature 1
The Oriented Strand Board (OSB) used in EPS' Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) is produced using less wood than traditional building materials. The OSB is made from tree species that grow and replenish very quickly. This is where 85-90 percent of the wood is processed for the OSB. The remaining percentage is used for energy.
Detail 2
SIPs contains expanded polystyrene, which requires 24 percent less energy to produce than fiberglass insulation of equivalent R-value.
Detail 3
The factory pre-cuts all of the SIPs, resulting in considerably less construction waste.
